I recently visited Petit Café in Oakland and had an amazing experience. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, and the highlight was definitely Sou, the staff member who made me feel incredibly welcome. His warm hospitality really stood out and made the visit even more enjoyable. Highly recommend this café for both the atmosphere and the fantastic service!

We were trying to go to Olivia Coffee & Flower but the line was too long so walked around the corner and popped into Petit Cafe. And so glad we did!! The staff is incredibly friendly - exemplars of great customer service, especially Valley/Vali (I’m sure I’m spelling that wrong but really want to recognize his exceptional thoughtfulness). Get the buttermilk biscuit sandwich, the biscuits are homemade and delicious. The chocolate chip cookie is equally great. Very impressed with our breakfast here and would come back! 10/10 would recommend.

Fantastic New Menu and Fresh Options! I recently visited this cafe shop and was thoroughly impressed with their updated menu. In addition to their delicious coffee, they now offer a wonderful variety of seasonal and fresh fruit and vegetable juices. The new options for veggie tacos are perfectly seasoned and bursting with flavor! I also appreciated the fresh deli items, all cooked daily, which adds an extra touch of quality and taste. This place keeps getting better and better—definitely worth a visit!

I love this little cafe! I love their various matcha lattes, all their food is great and the owner and everyone that works there is warm and wonderful! I had their 3 tacos once and it was amazingly yummy!

I don't write reviews often. Went here on the recommendation of a friend. Very nice atmosphere and friendly staff. Everything we ordered was delicious and they have a variety of latte's with some afghan flavor influence. I met Ahmad jaan as well and he could not have been a more gracious host and owner of this amazing business. Will be coming here again for sure and highly recommend.

Petite Cafe in Oakland is an absolute gem. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere felt friendly, kind, and genuinely peaceful—the kind of place where you want to savor your morning. I had the omelet, a classic croissant, a Danish, Turkish baklava, and a coffee. Everything was phenomenal. The coffee alone was the best I’ve had since arriving in California—rich, smooth, and worth the trip. The Turkish baklava was the best I’ve had in the States—sweet perfection. The croissant and Danish? Both top-notch—flaky, buttery, and exactly what you hope for. The omelet was also delightful, perfectly fresh. Plus, everything is made in-house, with all organic ingredients—so you’re not just enjoying flavor, but quality. Overall, it was one of the best café experiences I’ve had in California. Highly recommend!

Excellent food, exceptional service, went out of their way to make sure i felt comfortable. The buttermilk biscuit was especially tasty and potatoes were cooked to perfection. Thanks for the wonderful experience!

I popped in there accidentally heading to sprouts and I will be back! We ended up staying for some drinks. My children and I were greeted with so much respect and appreciation. We ordered the vanilla Matcha latte and the ginger snap latte along with a hot cocoa for my little one. Every drink was delicious and while we did not order any food I noticed a lot of food that was coming out of the kitchen and it looks so good. I asked the girl how her food was and she said amazing. I can’t wait to come back to try their food and get another one of their fabulous coffee drinks. The ambience is beautiful and I love how small and quaint it is, but very comfortable. They also take very good care of the restroom and keep it nice and clean, which is a huge plus. My kids and I felt very comfortable being there and the owner and staff are natural hospitality people. Such a delightful and charming café! Worth the long drive for a bite to eat. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the vibes were pure comfort. I went with my friend, and we shared our food like old companions on a cozy little adventure. I felt like Bilbo Baggins enjoying a hearty meal in my Hobbit hole, watching the rain sprinkle softly outside as people hurried past on their way to work or the nearby hospital. The only thing missing was my pipe! The service was absolutely phenomenal. The owners went above and beyond with their hospitality, and I’m still touched by how kind and genuine they were. I truly hope they know how much their efforts were appreciated, and they have my sincerest prayers that their café continues to flourish and bring warmth to those who wander through their doors.

Such a nice place. The staff is super nice, I heard them warmly welcome every regular by name. Took a risk with an unusual latte with honey and Morita chiles but it paid off— delicious! Counter with high stools is great for a little bit of work with your morning coffee. Bathroom and shop is clean and very cute with beautiful morning light.
